Does Nudje work without an account?
Yes — completely. Accounts exist only for the optional Nudje+ cloud sync.
What does “escalation” mean?
If you repeatedly ignore or reject a reminder, the next one sounds and reads a little firmer — up to a cap you choose. It's opt-in per reminder, and quiet hours always win.
Why doesn't Nudje Lifetime include cloud sync?
Sync runs on servers, which cost money every month. A one-time payment funding servers forever would be dishonest — so Lifetime covers everything local, and sync stays with the subscription. You can add Nudje+ to a Lifetime purchase anytime.
Can Nudje read my reminders if I use sync?
No. Sync is end-to-end encrypted — your reminders are encrypted on your phone and our servers only ever see ciphertext.
Is Nudje a medical device?
No. Nudje is a reminder app, not medical advice or a medical device. Medication reminders support your routine but don't replace professional care.
