1. What Nudje is (and isn’t)

Nudje is a reminder application. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Medication reminders support your routine; they do not replace professional healthcare, and you remain responsible for taking your medication and following your clinicians’ guidance. Do not rely on any reminder app as the sole safeguard for critical care.

2. Your account

The free app needs no account. Nudje+ uses Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email magic link. You’re responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method and — if you use sync — your recovery code. Because your data is end-to-end encrypted, losing the recovery code together with all signed-in devices means the synced data cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

3. Tiers and purchases

• Free — the full core app, supported outside the EU by non-personalized ads.
• Nudje Lifetime — a one-time purchase that removes ads permanently and includes maintenance updates (bug fixes and OS-compatibility) for the lifetime of the app. It is deliberately local-only: it does not include cloud sync, and new premium content (such as future sound packs) may be sold separately. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the Nudje application, not of any particular device or store.
• Nudje+ — an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan) adding end-to-end-encrypted sync, backup, family/caregiver profiles, and premium content. Cancel any time in your store account settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. A Lifetime purchase and a Nudje+ subscription can be held together.

All purchases run through Apple’s App Store or Google Play under their payment terms. Refunds follow the stores’ policies.

4. Caregiver features

Caregiver profiles are for personal and family use. When you manage reminders for another person you confirm you’re entitled to do so (a family member caring for a relative, a parent for their child). Linked profiles require the other person’s consent on their own device, and either side may end the link at any time. Caregiver features are not for clinical or commercial care management.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use Nudje to harass anyone (the escalation and nudge features are for your own reminders and consenting family), don’t attempt to break the encryption or probe our servers, and don’t resell the service.

6. Warranty and liability

Nudje is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties and limit our liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. We do not guarantee that any notification will be delivered at any particular time — operating systems defer, batch, and suppress notifications in ways outside any app’s control (see the documentation for how we mitigate this).

7. Termination

You can stop using Nudje at any time; deleting your account erases synced data (§7 of the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that violate §5 after notice where practicable.
