Medication reminder app that won't let you forget

A private medication reminder that escalates when you ignore it — for pills, vitamins and prescriptions. No account, no tracking, works offline.

Last updated

Nudje is a medication reminder app built for the doses you actually miss. Most reminders fire once, you glance at the notification, mean to take the pill in a minute — and then the notification is gone and so is the intention. Nudje is different: if you ignore a medication reminder, it comes back a little firmer, until you either take it or tell it you’re done.

The problem with ordinary pill reminders

A single silent notification is easy to swipe away. Life interrupts — you’re driving, cooking, mid-conversation — and the one alert you got is buried under everything else. Adherence research keeps finding the same thing: forgetting isn’t a motivation problem, it’s an interruption problem. The reminder has to survive the moment you couldn’t act on it.

How Nudje helps

  • Escalating nudges. Ignore a dose and the reminder returns, getting gradually more insistent instead of disappearing. It’s opt-in, capped, and always silenced during your quiet hours — never an alarm you can’t stop.
  • Your schedule, exactly. Once a day, twice a day, specific weekdays, or every few hours — with quiet hours it always respects.
  • Works with no account. Your medication schedule lives on your phone. No sign-up, no email, nothing uploaded. Health-adjacent data should not sit on someone’s server, so by default it doesn’t.
  • Private by design. If you ever turn on sync across devices, it’s end-to-end encrypted — we can’t read your reminders, and we don’t want to.

Nudje is a reminder tool, not a medical device, and it doesn’t give medical advice. Always follow your prescriber’s instructions.

Good for

Daily prescriptions, birth control, antibiotics you must finish, supplements and vitamins, and “take with food” doses you keep forgetting at dinner.

Common questions

Will it keep reminding me if I don’t take it? Yes — that’s the point. Escalation brings the reminder back, firmer each time, until you act or quiet hours begin.

Does it work without internet? Completely. Reminders fire locally on your phone with no connection needed.

Can I manage medication for a parent? Yes — see senior medication reminders for family and caregiver profiles.
